The plan for the day was to see this movie by M. Night Shyamalan (which I was pretty skeptical about because his movies have been sucking for the past years):

We originally wanted to see this movie, because I really wanted to watch a Hong Kong scary movie, but it didn’t stay long enough in the theaters for us to catch it:

Peter, Chin and I bought our HK$60 movie tickets (a bit cheaper than the US for night prices) and bought food at Wellcome first to bring in. We grabbed gummy bears and chocolates and roamed around the grocery store.

I guess the most interesting part of the night was when we received a phone call from a friend of ours (whom I really wasn’t a fan of at ALL) asking me what the plan was for Japan. I was a bit irritated at him for having invited himself and all of us didn’t want him to go and nobody knew how to say no, so I was a bit blunt in rejecting him. Maybe I was a little bitchy. Whoops.
But really, I have a big heart, I swear. I tried hard not to make fun of Chin holding a man bag.

We sat next to some couples, and hoped that they wouldn’t make out in front of us.

The movie was AIGHT. It reminded me of Saw for some reason. Time to pig out! Why yes, I bought fries in Hong Kong. NEW YORK fries.
