I am so unbelievably behind on this thing, I don’t even think I will finish this before I come back to LA. But let’s try!
The plan for the day was to do what we do best in Hong Kong: SHOP! Leanne, James, Will and Peter and I all went to the Uniqlo in Causeway Bay so that the guys could buy some shorts. Leanne and I found some jackets that we really loved, but they were a little out of my price range, so I’m going to wait for them to go on sale before I splurge on them. I found a skirt that barely fit my tiny booty, since I have barely enough to fill it out, but I had to buy it cause it was so cheap. CHEAP!
Our next stop was to Hui Lau Shan for some dessert, where Peter and Will tried some Hokkaido yogurt pudding dish. They called it a boob, since it shook around like silicon. They thought their boob was delicious.

We took James to Gong Cha after so that he could try the drink with the white layer on top, and I snuck a pic of a girl wearing an Engrish shirt. I’m getting better at the sneaky pics, except this picture of Leanne is very unflattering.

My Gong Cha boyfriends weren’t rude to me today, since I didn’t have to interact with them.

The most interesting part about Sundays in Hong Kong is that all the foreign domestic workers get the day off. That’s a more PC way of saying Filipino workers! It’s actually pretty amazing how many of them we see on Sundays, but it seems like they probably don’t get to stay in the house for the day. They park in a bunch of different locations, and I think this street is closed just for them! Isn’t it cool that they’re doing yoga in the middle of the street?

A lot of Filipinos also hang out in the tunnel that we walk through to get to our bus stop, and it’s just really fun to watch them play card games, gamble, and play intense chess. I kind of want to hang out with them and immerse myself in the culture one fine Sunday, but I don’t know if I’d be able to do that very well.

To end the night and my failed attempt to do homework, a couple of my floormates and I ordered McDonalds Delivery. I love 24 Hr delivery, but I really don’t like getting yelled at by the little moped deliverymen. They have FRIED CHICKEN at the McDonalds here, it’s so much better than the McDonald’s back home. MCWINGS ARE SO GOOD!
