Hong Kong locals are pixies compared to the foreigners, because they’re so small and petite (including the boys.) I still have yet to figure out why they are not fat, because there is so much food to eat. Maybe I’m just spoiled by American sizes, where everything comes large, even the bras.
Look guys, we’re pixies too!

The plan for the day was to go to the Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung, which is at the end of the MTR orange line. It’s also where you get on the Cable car that takes you to see the Giant Buddha, which I still have yet to visit.

Well fancy that, another giant shopping mall to roam around for cheap-but-not-so-cheap stuff! It was like the Vegas or Cabazon outlets, where you can look at Coach bags and Armani Exchange shirts. Unfortunately, I’m still too cheap for that stuff, and I got bored pretty fast. BOO, y’all don’t cater to the poor college students! I should have bought the cardigans that I saw at Giordano.
Leanne and I wanted to buy a drink, so we stopped by the food court really quickly and bought a slice of sweet butter toast to munch on. This is SO much cheaper than the ones back home at any Taiwanese cafe, and the quality is about the same as well. Steph, you still need to make me some!

None of us the stores were really great, and the three of us didn’t end up buying anything. Our last stop was the grocery store downstairs called “Taste”, which I think was the best part of the trip. It was big, had fresh food, fresh juices, and a giant salmon. Did anybody else think that salmon were a lot smaller than this??

Leanne bought some Thai rambutans, which I’d never seen before in my life. They look a bit like furry animals, but taste like lychees. For some reason I tend to make myself eat healthier here than I do at home and care about things like calcium intake and vegetables. I take having all that stuff at home for granted, so I bought some calcium fortified soy milk boxes.

On our way to meet up with some more girls in MongKok, we saw these two skinny guys walking in front of us at the MTR station. Courtney wanted me to take a picture of her next to them, and was a little surprised to see that her bootay was so big next to theirs. It’s a little sad that these boys look like we can break them in half.

Courtney is our faux-Asian friend because she lives in Alhambra but hasn’t tried a lot of stereotypically Asian things (like Cues). She is a true banana. That’s why she’s in HK, so we can make her FOBulous! We met up with our friends Titi, Rhona and Lucie to get baggy noodles for dinner, and headed to Wonder Studio to take the sticker pics again. All of the girls except Leanne and me had never done it before, so they had fun decorating.

Our end results:

You can’t end cute poses without this classic one:

Titi tried to teach me how to stanky leg (new move from Texas!), while I taught her what hyphy is. We’re gonna bring it to the clubs in Hong Kong, and show people where the party is!
“Do da stanky leg, do da stanky leg.”

We headed home after a long day, and marvelled at how fascinating the buildings in Central look at night. Does the IFC building look familiar to you? Look, I see Batman jumping off!

Chin and I are definitely going to have photoshoots here one night. The girls have started practicing already.
